I can't launch the game through FB
Jasper Lewis replied to fb102192163624343's topic in Technical Support
This could be the problem but he wasn't exactly specific with details so it's hard to say. I do know I ran into a problem with cache not too long ago though. The game froze up while I was in a battle so I reloaded in an attempt to fix it and the game would not let me back in no matter how any times I reloaded so I decided to search for the game's cache files. I found them at: (chrome, windows 7) C:\Users\(user)\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot\#SharedObjects\4MX4MB6A\gmenuse-res.srv.creagames.com I then deleted all the folders inside (but not before taking a look at them, turns out the game saves a chat log of everything said in guild chat, html code and all, to your cache) and was able to load the game again -
Red Heroes
Jasper Lewis replied to Belle Irlan's topic in Questions about the game and help for the newbies
I'm pretty sure this is the entire point of red heros considering it is also done with purple heros. White: First ability available. Green: Second ability unlocks. Blue:Third ability unlocks Purple: First and second ability gets power boost Orange: Fourth ability unlocks. Red: Fourth ability gets power boost. Would be nice if the boost was a bit better for defense heros though. Support hero: Fourth skill (reduces incoming damage and boosts outgoing damage) increases from 5% to 10% Attack hero: MATK boost increases from 10% to 15%, chance for skill to not trigger cooldown increases from 10% to 15% Defense hero: 60% damage reduction triggers at 40% health instead of 30%. Still lasts 2 turns with an undefined chance of lasting an extra turn -
Why does everyone jump straight to incorrect conclusions instead of understanding the point I'm trying to make? I didn't expect the method to be the same, in fact if you even read " According to that chart, every 14 points of crit adds 1% Crit chance at level 60, 22.0769 for 1% at 70, 45.906 for 1% at 80, etc. Here I've determined crit to by 100 points for 1% regardless of level, but, you have to subtract your crit from your opponent's crit resist before doing so. " Then you'd know what I know the game handles calculations differently. Anyways the whole point of my post if that it'd be nice to know the little things such as how damage is calculated, more detailed descriptions of stats (such as crits making attacks deal 50% more damage or penetration making an attack ignore defense) etc.

The further along the progress bar, the better the odds of a successful boost. If you're unlucky enough for the meter to reach it's cap like I almost was boosting from +5 to +6 then it will have a 100% upgrade chance. I included this info because that's the hard limit of feathers a boost can take. For example: +6: 12-15 (meter caps at 1857) can take anywhere from 123 - 154 feathers if you have no luck with boosting. For me, this boost succeeded with 114 feathers.

good to know, thanks

Needs more info. The Small Bouquet says it contains some gold (the others do not mention gold). Does it actually contain gold?

My guide is almost complete, I need help filling in the blanks though. There's info I cannot find on my own such as VIP exclusive hero stats or info on the gold buffs and some info such as Special Monster Chests (the chests boss monsters drop) which I'm struggling with due to poor RNG, I either don't get the weapon at all or someone else gets the weapon and the kill before me and refuse to provide info of what they got. Enemy Kill Rewards: Prince Xiaolong: ?? EP, ?? Diamonds, Mail containing 100 Coupons x1 Achievements: Beginner's Diploma: ??? Call to Battle suggestion
Jasper Lewis replied to Jasper Lewis's topic in Questions and Offers for the Administration
Not just me, many others have had this happen as well and the day I made this post It was really severe, and yes, it WAS that bad. You'd think they'd run out of movement points but they kept killing and killing and killing. Ori even got a 25 player killing spree which really says something. -

I've been thinking and and I've decided that Call To Battle tends to get pretty unbalanced when ALL the top players are on one team such as what happened today. No one could kill them and the amount of spawn camping that pursued was insane. My idea is that a counterpart to Burning Soul be implemented. While Burning Soul increases your damage by 10% each time your defeated and stacks 10 times for 100% increased damage, we could have have a debuff [Battle Fatigue] that would reduce all stats (Max HP, PATK, MATK, PDEF, MDEF, Crit, Crit Resist, etc.) by 2.5% each time they kill another player and cap at 30 for 75% reduced stats. Like Burning Soul being lost when you win battles, Battle Fatigue will be lost as you loose them. -
What do you get when you mouse over a stat in this game? Absolutely nothing. When do you get when you mouse over a stat in Warcraft? My screenshot in the third link shows just that. If you hover over Armor you'll also see that it's a converts into a percentage reduction as opposed to here where nobody knows. That said, yes Blizzard does provide info.

I've already covered this. It does not stop campers from spam clicking you so their click on you registers before your click on the governor and if you try to change maps instead, you have to wait till fully resurrected before you can attempt to do so, not only that, you have to wait out the animation before you actually change maps which provides them more than enough time to kill you. This means they can (and will) take you from 100 to 0 delivery without you having any chance of getting away from them other than refreshing the game to be forcefully ejected which it should not have to come to. -
It'd be nice to know the little things too. Most other game share the little info, not here though. Heres a look at the secondary stats of WOW http://wow.gamepedia.com/Combat_rating_system According to that chart, every 14 points of crit adds 1% Crit chance at level 60, 22.0769 for 1% at 70, 45.906 for 1% at 80, etc. Here I've determined crit to by 100 points for 1% regardless of level, but, you have to subtract your crit from your opponent's crit resist before doing so. On the topic of how defense/armor works, Warcraft is pretty straightforward about it http://wow.gamepedia.com/Armor. It even gives Infoboves for each stat such as shown in this picture http://media.mmo-champion.com/images/news/2013/october/characterScalingLevel48.jpg The formula for determining damage absorption is: DA = (player health) / (1 - (% damage reduction given by armor in decimal form). For example, a character with 1000 health and 31.24% damage reduction would be able to absorb 1000 / (1 - .3124) = 1454 (rounded) damage. A character with 1000 health and 99.98 damage reduction would be able to absorb 1000 / (1 -. 9998) = 500,000 damage. Damage absorption only applies to physical damage. Armor damage reduction formula Armor Damage Reduction According to the Blizzard UI elements (PaperDollFrame.lua), the formulas for damage reduction are as follows for WoW 5.0.4 in which Attacker = either player or mob. Attacker Levels 1 - 59 DR% = Armor / (Armor + 400 + 85 * AttackerLevel) Attacker Levels 60 - 79 DR% = Armor / (Armor + 400 + 85 * (AttackerLevel + 4.5 * (AttackerLevel - 59))) Attacker Level 80 - 84 DR% = Armor / (Armor + 400 + 85 * AttackerLevel + (4.5 * (AttackerLevel - 59)) + (20 * (AttackerLevel - 80)) ) Attacker Level 85 and over DR% = Armor / (Armor + 400 + 85 * AttackerLevel + (4.5 * (AttackerLevel -59)) + (20 * (AttackerLevel - 80)) + (22 * (AttackerLevel - 85)); ) Simplified, the formula becomes: DR% = Armor / (Armor + (467.5 * AttackerLevel - 22167.5)) Consider the following table which can be derived from the above formula for a lvl 70 tank taking 1000 DPS of "raw" damage: Here however, there is no info about any stat and players have to figure it out on their own.

Jasper Lewis replied to Jasper Lewis's topic in Questions and Offers for the Administration
"limited of movement for all the players" You forget 2 things. First and foremost when a player is attacked they loose a movement point as well as the attacker and it's a crippling effect when all the strongest players are on the enemy team and are camping relentlessly. Second, no amount of cooperation will help you when no one on your team can come close to killing a member of the opponent's team, all you can do have have the low levels attack them as distractions and waste movement points but it's a very inefficient tactic. We need a better solution such as balanced (instead of randomized) teams or stacking debuffs for killing players. Third, your helping reward doesn't mean anything, if you're killed before you reach the governor every time you can't get a helping reward because you can't help because you're getting camped, even players even go as far as body blocking the governor and relentlessly clicking players to attack them the second they come out of resurrection protection before the players click on the governor even registers. Fourth, your formula doesn't mean a thing. Even with 2% damage you are limited by 100 / 20 delivery points. That's 5 attacks of 2% damage for 10% damage then a 3 minute cooldown during which time someone else could easily run off with governor kill. You need to remember you are not the only person attacking, you are competing against dozens of other players, always. Fifth, that gives players even less movement points to work with when dealing with spawn campers and makes my suggestion even more urgent. Something else worth pointing out is that your math is horrible. being able to inflect 40% of the governor's health as damage over 20 moves DOES NOT translate into a 40% chance to get a governor kill. You fail to take into considering campers, competition on your own team, and the delivery system (5 points used up during a win, 20 used during a loss). The actual chance is much, much lower and for many it depends on how luck you are with the enemy team going after others besides you and other's misfortune of leaving the governor alive with less than 2% hp Sixth, if by stronger you mean Ori and Triple S, they can hit it for much more than 5% they actually have enough damage to solo the governors as opposed to your garbage 55 x 2% formula (on a side note trying to do that as 55 x 2% will only give you 2% of 55 as your answer which is 1.1 as opposed to 55 x 2 then interpreting it as a percentage) And lastly I can agree with you on one thing and one thing only, the luck factor. I got my first governor kill when I could only inflict a mere 0.20% damage. My fortune was another's misfortune because someone else left it at 0.08%. -

This is the truth. I'm sure Technical Support knows but apparently they cannot answer individual questions as Belle found out in a former post. -
Skills
Jasper Lewis replied to fb1296196943769900's topic in Questions about the game and help for the newbies
The first skill (Dash/Aimed Shot) can neither be moved not removed. They are the basic attacks of Warriors/Gunslingers respectively and if they were removed you would be unable to perform any actions in battle and the battle would lock up (very bad scenario considering refreshing does not end battles and there is no forfeit option) Sadly to move a skill you have to remove it first and since you can't remove the first skills you can't move them either. Even without that knowledge, the said skills are not even clickable in the skill menu thus another reason they cannot be moved. -

Mystery Island orange quality equipment
Jasper Lewis posted a topic in Questions and Offers for the Administration
Why is there no orange quality Sword, Armor, or Helmet in Mystery Island? The only orange quality equipment that ever shows up is Hermes Boots. I've been through many matches and always pay close attention to Equipment Trader's stock, Hermes Boots is the only orange to ever show up and at this point I'm wondering if there is even an orange version for the other equipment. Can you guys please shed some light on this? -
neither is putting up with a single guild owning the entire server
-
You could do what Warcraft players do, "unsub" till the next expansion.

Feast of the Sea
Jasper Lewis replied to Decap's topic in Questions about the game and help for the newbies
So you're saying players are not supposed to be able to vote unless they're currently setting in a room and the fact people can do just that on my server is a bug? -
Can we please merge with another server with a powerful light side? As things stand, the Darkside has complete uncontested dominance over the entire server and that's not an exaggeration. In fact's it's the same Dark side guild that has control over everything and no one is strong enough to put them in their place. As if that wasn't bad enough their guild leader actively tells light side players to make new accounts and switch to the dark side creating further imbalance. We need a strong light side presence to even things out.

Feast of the Sea
Jasper Lewis replied to Decap's topic in Questions about the game and help for the newbies
That would solve nothing, anyone can vote in any room regardless of if they're sitting in another room or not sitting anywhere at all.
