How is damage calculated?
Jasper Lewis posted a topic in Questions about the game and help for the newbies
I've tried several different formulas and I've yet to find one that matches up. Some examples of what I've tried are: (46,058 Attack) (33,673 Defense) (640 Modifier from Spiral of Death) (100% damage increase from GW) (50% damage reduction for enemy in GW) (actual damage= 57,929) 46,058 - 33,673 + 640 (13,025) 46,058 x 2 - 33,673 / 2 + 640 (75,919) 46,058 - 33,673 x 640% [times by 6.4] (79,264) 46,058 x 640% - 33,673 (261,098) 46,056 x 2 - (33,673 / 1000)% /2 x0.05 (46056 x 2 - 33.673% = 61,095 x 0.95= 58040 I already know that every 100 crit adds 1% crit rate and the crit chance is (Attacker's Crit - Defender's Crit Resist /100) Finding out the damage formula, however, has proven itself quite difficult. The last formula seems to be closest but I'm not sure if it's the true formula for damage or not Using the same method (minus the GW boost) on an opponent in the Arena yielded less accurate accurate results though My PATK (46,056) Target's PDEF (28,257) Orange quality support (damage dealt x 1.05, -5% damage received x 0.95) (1% damage reduction per 1000 DEF) (actual damage= 28,665) ((46,056 x 1.05) - (28,257 / 1000)%) x 0.95 48358 - (28,257 / 1000)%) x 0.95 (48358 - 28.257%) x 0.95= 34693 x 0.95 = 32958 -

You're right theres a lot of factors in play. My targets were level 80-ish so theres probably factors I didn't account for. The total stats you see when mousing over your character already accounts for gems so that's not a problem. Finding out if defense gives direct reduction or translates into percentage reduction is the main challenge. Just trying to complete this Stats.rtf -
Mystery island runs from 17:00 to 17:30 with it's lobby opening up at 16:55 but can end sooner if the Apocalypse Lord is killed. Daily Event incorrectly lists it at lasting till 18:00 even worse, the lobby stays open that long as well despite the event being long finished.

Mysterious Island

I'm working on a guide for it but it's still incomplete. To answer your questions: "Which NPCs drop which item": From what I've noticed all monsters except rares drop the same chests. The only rare I can vouch for is Snow Queen which drops 10 EP and 500 Diamonds "Do each level NPC have a weapon drop for a specific Boss?" As I said to your previous question I believe it's random, but it it makes you happy, here's this. " is there a formula that works better as APOC, or have we seen the last of APOCs winning Mysterious Island?": When I managed to become Apocalypse Lord, I dominated everyone, of course I had 2 red quality items backing me up (The flaming Sword you see in my picture and an armor who's name I cannot remember that gives 1% increased damage per 1% missing health). In addition to that I had the Thirst for Blood ability, no Apoc Lord should go without it. Don't forget to destroy resurrection stones to recover some help while denying stronger opponents the chance to recover (which means you're more likely to loose) Something I have yet to figure out though is why no Orange quality Sword, Armor, or Helmet ever shows up in the Equipment Trader's stock. The only orange quality item I've seen him sell is Orange Boots (Hermes Boots) -
I didn't spend anything on this game and I have some wings, there's multiple ways to get gold in this game. Yes, it's a bit slow, but, it does work. Feast of The Sea Alcohol: 10 gold Rothschild 82: 50 gold (note that both are rare and you have to have the wheel pointing to the number of your table to win anything other than Cola. Tasting a dish gives an alternate reward, not the main reward) Dice Throw Reward Chest(6): 20 gold Treasure Hunt Killing blow dealt to Pirate boss: 10 gold Call to Battle Killing blow dealt to Governor: 100 gold (much harder than pirate boss) Military Contest Voting for a favorite contestant: Small chance to win 10 gold Placing gold bets on a constant who wins: 50% profit (betting 10 gold rewards 15 gold)

Prayer Tree is a method of boosting your Battle Rank that is unlocked at level 65 and is accessed through a button labeled "Prayer" on the bottom-right corner of your inventory. The goal is to sacrifice items to the tree to give the tree experience, only certain items can be sacrificed. Once the tree gains enough experience, it levels up and provides increasing stat boosts to your entire team These are the only materials the tree seems to accept currently: Energy Stone I: Star Shard: 60 (costs 6 each) Dragon Blood Armor: 100 (costs 30 each) Dragon Blood Accessory: 125 (costs 40 each) Dragon Blood Weapon: 200 (costs 60 each) Energy Stone II: Ice Crystal: 120 (cost 30 each) Scroll: Armor of Ancients: 150 (cost 90 each) Scroll: Accessory of Ancients: 175 (cost 150 each) Scroll: Weapon of Ancients: 300 (cost 240 each) Energy Stone III: Elven Quill: 180 (cost 100 each) Scroll: Armor of Flame: 200 (cost 300 each) Scroll: Accessory of Flame: 225 (cost 500 each) Scroll: Weapon of Flame: 400 (cost 750 each) Energy Stone IV: ???: (I have not made it this far yet) Diamonds: Diamond, rank 1: 10 Diamond, rank 2: 20 Meteorites: Meteorite, rank 1: 20 Meteorite, rank 2: 40 Mithrils: Mithril, rank 1: 40 Mithril, rank 2: 80
